2nd attempt @ the Bun’s

We when to our annual foodie festival on Saturday at Syon Park. Saw ‘bake with jack’ again and watch him do Belgium bun’s . so Sunday when to Tesco and brought all the required ingredients. First attempt on bank holiday Monday !!
Ready to start

Very Sticky Dough – but remember Jacks words – DON’T add flour just need it

Waiting for it to rise the first time

Didn’t do a good job of rolling it out 🙁 should be more rectangle !! Will do better next time

Lemon Curd and Raisins added

Rolled up cut into segments

2nd rising

ready for oven !

All dressed with icing sugar and cherry’s

Here’s my 2nd attempt at rolls. Small change this time did 12 rolls instead of 8. So they are smaller and again all totally different sizes. may need to get the scales out next time. but still a little dense , but tasted great 🙂

Also need to look at how to display them better !!
Did bread rolls again , still haven’t raised as much as I think they should have. Think that is due to room temp. Need to think of a better place !

As I have sort of got the loaf making down to a ‘T’. I have decide that I need to get practicing roll burger making ready for the BBQ season. So again following ‘Bake with Jack’ recipes Here
So here’s my first attempts , more practice is needed all different sizes and a little dense!

I decide to do some tea cakes , again following ‘Bake with jack‘ blueberry recipe.

whoa , what a different following the recipe to the letter with white strong flour. Best loaves so far !!
thanks Jack 🙂 differently worth the extra time !

Still following bake with jack method and improving each time 🙂

OK , New Year new method for bread. I have found a new site/youtube channel , call bake with Jack
Main different from my original recipe is the fact this takes alot……. longer to make. decide to do wholemeal this week. looks and tastes a little better . no sure if it’s worth the extra time.
